Hi all, my g1 is stuck on the android boot up screen, any help?
My phone will not load up past the android boot up screen. I've tried everything from removing the battery to a safe-mode boot up and nothing has worked. If someone could help me it would be much appreciated. Is there a way to force a reboot with the data sync cable? I'm really at a loss at this point.

have you tried booting to recovery (holding the home button and power)? and then pressing alt+l if you're not rooted. then alt+w. this will wipe your phone to factory defaults.

When I had a situation like that I download Dreaming.nbh to my sd, rebooted holding home+camera and when it asked me pressed the action button (trackball) that reset me all the way back to factory without root.... I later learned that having the wrong SPL for the ROM you are flashing will have this effect, make sure you have the latest SPL installed you'll need a card reader to do this, just search this forum or xda for instructions

i have that issue when i dont wipe..
hold home and power buttons until the warning logo, open keyboard, press alt + l, then alt + w, then hold back and home buttons to restart phone. usually works.

can someone hep me please..!! my google g1 is stuck on the boot up screen
can anyone please help me my Google g1 phone is stuck on the first screen when i turn my phone on... all it says is G1 ...T...Mobile. then it wont move from there at all.... i tried the power button and the home button thing but it wasnt no good. sometimes it goes to a splash thing that moves (different colours). i try leaving it on all night but nothing happens. i even watched videos on youtube to see have to get it done but nothing helps... if anyone knows how to fix this can you tell me please...this is my only phone i got.
