Default How I got my adapter...

So I got my mini usb to 3.5" headphone adapter when I went to the T-mobile store. I just asked for one saying that I didn't get one in my G1 box and they took one from a return...was never used and still has twist tie thing on it.

It has a nice feature in that you can use your headphones as a headset to answer/make calls.

    Looks pretty sharp too.

For everyone who didn't get it:

Just go down to the T-mo store and ask for one, and if they have returns they'll give one to you.

I previously had called t-mobile cust care and HTC and both of them stiffed me. So just go down to the T-mo store.

So what you are saying is that if my local T-mobile dealer has a returned unit they will definitely give me the adapter from it? I'm there dude!

I doubt all Tmobile stores would do this so dont be disappointed if they dont. I guess if they are nice and if you bought the phone from they might.

    never hurts to try...

I got the adapter at a different store actually...wasn't the same store I got my G-1 from.

I think most stores would hook you up.

Did anyone get an adapter by calling CS? I want one of these when I ask for a new battery (mine started going bad, I've calibrated it a few times and it still sucks )

Never heard someone say they received one from CS, but I've asked for certain replacement stuff from Tmo stores before.

    With no problem!

I actually have been asking around but no luck yet.

I did call tmobile CS tho and got $6.00 refunded to my account so I could go buy my own and 300 bonus minutes for my time,

But then again I spent a while on the phone with them, talked to them, got them to agree to a refund, made them talk to a super, and then got them to refund it then and there.

My wife's white G1 came with it. I took it and it come in really handy in the car. I can use it for music. When the phone rings, it plays the call through the speakers. I have the mic attached to my seat belt. Works like a champ.

The button is awesome; you could use it to play and pause the music. If you haven't launched the music app yet, the button would call it right up.
