How much Lag time do you get?

I get this a lot too.

What you can do is hold the home key to display the last used apps. That way you don't have to go to the home screen to launch another app.

good call KoukiFC3S. i overlooked this and it's really a great time saver. a great example is, i use the GMote app to launch movies from the PC i have hooked-up to my LCD TV in the living room and for the PC in my bedroom. if you're watching a movie and the phone rings, ya gotta get to GMote and "Pause" quickly!

seems that using the browser for awhile loads the cache up, and that slows down the homescreen.

try surfing for a good long while, then clearing the cache, THEN going to the homescreen- for me it seems to get rid of it

This is almost becoming unbearable.. The HSSOD (home screen stare of death) keeps getting longer.. I constantly clear data.. Sometimes it will pause for 20-30 seconds after accidentally opening the browser, right after a restart, and with clear cache...

If I didn't know this would be the case with an early adoption, I would trade-up.. but, we all planned on making sacrifices right? Even if they turn out to be embarrassing when people are demoing your phone lol.

Things like gmote beta 2.0 make any issue seem worth it :-)

Did become unearable for me. Hence the reason i took the G1 back last night. Will be waiting on Generation 2 to come out and hopefully have better luck.

My lag ended up being 10 seconds on a regular basis when coming out of the browser.

Yeah, and when you pull the app menu thing, theres nothing in it, but then it loads up.... real slow! i bet you the iphone doesn't have this problem

Cupcake brought my phone from having the home screens tare of death ANYTIME i used an application that is cache heavy in some way.. to total, epic, lag. I can;t even really use any widgets if I want the phone to work...

I rarely experience lag of any kind. If I do, it's 2 seconds at the max.
I have Open Home Full with animations on. 4 Widgets.
