Many people I know use http://www.squaretrade.com/ to cover unlocked phones though Ive never used it personally.

Well then will at least edge work? I would actually not mind if it ran on edge.

Works fine on edge, works fine on AT&T's 3g I believe. Most any phone in the world aside from T-Mo and some Japanese company's phones will work with AT&T, which is why I'm seriously considering switching, I'm tired of seeing all of these great phones out there that I can't use to its fullest.

It will work on edge! it has quad band gsm 850/900/1800/1900 so it will work on tmobile and at&t edge. Other than 3G everything should work. I am around a wifi connection 50% of the time during my day so thats why its not a big problem for me.
