Sorry, Austin Powers moment there, can't wait, may not need to buy a Hero if this works well. Haykuro's twitter post has me hopeful.
    What Twitter post exactly?
I haven't seen any recent post from Haykuro.

I have been following that thread since this morning but i havent seen a post saying haykuro is going to be working on it. He says he just fiddled with it and slapped on his phone but he never said he was going to work on it for us...

He did post a few screenshots, and said it does run smoother . Still Cyogen and JAC seem to be interested so its all good.

No, my fault, not twitter, it was a regular post from his thread, I read extreme99's post above mine, thought what he said from Haykuro was a twitter post. But I just read through the thread over at XDA, he has confirmed there is a significant speed boost.

it's a release build. and the rosie i'm looking at right now is much different. seems a lot sleeker and has various apps i haven't seen before. (screenshots / dump by request [this is in no way a completed port, i'd rather you guys do it as i'm not going to bother with it :P i just threw it on my device to play with it for a bit])

EDIT: also i have to say, with no optimization done, this thing does run fairly quickly in comparison to what we've had available. (also considering i simply pushed the system directory and am running everything off my sd card [the old method])

What about if Haykuro works on a release?

If he does, it'll be a bare-bones port, giving others a point to jump off from. Still, would be great.

I wonder if this can be ported to the Rogers(288 RAM) Magic. That will be the closet we will get to the Hero, and could save a couple hundred bucks in the process; Amazon has Hero pre-orders goin for about 700 smackeroos

    Upgraded to
