J man! I'm surprised at chu. I kno we don't need it on our g1 cus we got a real kb but for an all touch phone I think its a must. If there's something well done on the apple product I refuse to name; is the vk check it out

Anyone tried the new 2.2 versions yet?

I finally got my 2.1 running fast!!!!!!!!!

Mind sharing how you got it to run fast?

Nephron helped me with a script to run but it was because of JohnnyLicious that the idea came from!!

Give credit where credit is due!!

Hey! This is what you want to do,

First go to Market and search for Gscript Lite and install it

Then download the script that he/I made here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/z32qsy

Now mount your sd card or w/e and create a new folder called gscript in the root of the sdcard

Put the remove.sh script in the folder

Go back to your phone and unmount your phone

Open up Gscript

Press menu and select load script

Select the remove script then press Add

Now it will take you back to the main menu

select the the remove script and wait for it to give the Root access popup and press always allow.

Once done go back to your home screen and reboot.

That should be it right there and you should be going double the speed.

-build.prop modifications to reflect proper device
-Sensor updates for Auto-Rotate (TouchFlo still won't rotate of course)
-sysctl.conf added to /system/etc
-auto backlight turned off by default
-Wifi tether
-Swapper included
-changes to /data/app removed any .odex'd apps due to upgrade issues
