Yeah pretty sure Rosie was just a code name for the new UI but it looks great in its current form on the Hero, havent seen much from the Huawei front as far as the working UI maybe soon, regardless looks like we are going to have some nice phones to choose from running android in the very near future

Gotta tell you, I was all excited about the myTouch coming out. I checked with TMo, and they informed me that my account could be extended to get the discount on the phone (I guess I updated my wifes account, when I purchased the G1 back in Oct. She's happy with her BB, so...)

Anyways, two, count em TWO DAYS LATER... I start hearing all about the Hero, and my enthusiasm for the myTouch (stupid name) is diminished...

Man... that phone looks slick to me! LOVE the interface, the phones design... not sure about specs (memory), but it comes with 5mp camera....

I honestly think the Hero could be the first Android phone to give the iPhone a run for it's money! The phone is actually THINNER then the iPhone, looks slick, and the interface blows the iPhone AWAY!

The widgets that display the weather on the home screen, ability to add my space, twitter, etc. etc. are things that the iPhone just can't do!

Now... not sure what I'll do. Guess I'll wait a few weeks, and see if/when the Hero is coming to T Mobile!

Not that bad of a problem to have... numerous Android phones, FINALLY showing up!

The Hawaii phone also looks pretty good, but I think I read that it's lacking in memory, and I'm just not that familar with the company. Unless the phone really adds something over an HTC phone, I'd just as well stick with HTC, who seems to really be pushing the Android platform to the limits with numerous phones and OS updates!

I completely agree, android is a great OS it just needs some spit and polish work if you know what I mean, and I think HTC is just the company to do that, with what they have done with touch flo massaging it into Windows mobile.

I'm going to get the myTouch 3G, and when a stable/fast ROM of the Hero build is ported to the magic, which it will, I will just use that.

isnt there supposed to be atleast 20 new android devices by the end of this year? why do we only know about 6 of them? we are already more then halfway through 2009 so is there just supposed to be a surge of android devices?

if i had the choice... i'd easily choose the hero although the magic looks awesome too.
I have a bad feeling that Sense UI will not see it's way to any phones that are marked "With Google" . Thank god for those awesome XDA guys!

i dunno. makes you wonder though. Out of those 20 im sure only a small handful of them are going to be awesome ie: Magic/hero/Huawei/and that sammy. The motorola phone looks like a snooze fest.
