i have an htc magic and it doesnt have an android market. i think it has something to do with me getting the phone in asia. is there anyway that i can have an android market in my phone?
Unfortunately without rooting and flashing the phone I don't think there is any way to install the market manually. It's not on the phone by default due to the way in which the phone is being sold in some parts of Asia as an open handset rather than using Google Mobile Services (GMS) which would give you android market, google maps etc.
how will i be able to root and flash my phoe? and is this a sure thing that once i flash and root my phone that i will have an android market?
Not sure about the market, but read this link on rooting.
