HTC Magic Vodafone In Stores Now

Just got a phone call from Vodaphone that my pre-order for my HTC Magic is now available to be picked up in store.

I would imagine that they would have some to sell to non pre-order customers although I have no hard conformation of that.

Should be picking it up in about 2 hours when I finish work.
Good start to the bank holiday weekend.

Anyone else getting their pre-order or even just popping in to buy it without reserving?

I checked the website earlier today; their cheapest contract at £30 p/m is on a 2year contract! I was going to get my wife one but that's a little too long.

Mine's in the post (pre-ordered from website). Trouble is there's a bank holiday so it won't be here till Wed!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

hi folks, i got my Magic yesterday in phones4u. just walked into the store to look at it and took it there an then. they only had two apparently. i think its a great phone, im new to Android but im defo liking it alot.
wot does everyone else think of theirs?

But as a Geek I somehow need to get root access
The Problem is, I can't even use the Google TerminalEmulator since it doesn't seem to support the on screen keyboard.

thanks very much, i aint got a clue wot all this root access stuff u guys talk about is, i only got this phone cuz i didnt want an iphone and Android sounded very cool and the phone is nice too. i do love the customization that u can do on this bad boy.
