I love Android, but I returned my G1 =(

I'm sure everyone knows all the little quirks of this phone and most didn't bother me enough to return it. Two however I just couldn't deal with any longer. The first of which was the battery life which couldn't even make it through the afternoon for me. I also went through 2 handsets in hopes this issue would be resolved with the 2nd. I admit the 2nd one seemed better, but only if I wasn't doing anything taxing on the phone, then it would last all day. The second issue however was this horrible echo which sounded like I was talking to myself...I could barely make out the person on the other end, that is how bad it was, and this is with both phones so I'm not sure if this was a bad batch or what have you but I ended up returning the handset and going back to my old phone (nokia e51) as I need a reliable phone. I will be watching Android though and will be back in the future!

I would only hear the echo on my Dash when I was on the phone and someone else called me (Call waiting) and when I switched over to talk to the second caller I would get that echo.

All these issues with the G1 seem so random like some of the faults from my 2nd g1 were not there in my 1st and vice versa. On my 2nd one, a lot of times I was reading a webpage and for reason the page would just scroll all the way to the bottom out of nowhere...that never happened in my first but all the time on the 2nd..very strange.
