I think I'm storing away my beloved G1

Recently I went to a Microsoft convention in Las Vegas, where I enjoyed 3G on my G1 for the first time seeing that I have no option for 3G for T-Mobile in Southern Oregon, which by the way is awsome, except for the exponential battery drain.

Well i digress from my point. While at the convention I was invited to an AT&T open bar party with great food, live entertainment, and a chocolate fountain . At the end of the party each atendee got a bag with a free Samsung Epix. So after a long night of drinking and dancing I charged my Epix and I gotta say that there is a lot of things I miss about Windows Mobile 6.1.

The reason I want to switch over to the Epix is because I like being able to use my phone without worrying whether or not I should play Solitare or watch another youtube video because my girlfriend is gonna call me in 1 hour and my G1 will most likely be dead by then.

If the G1 had a better battery life I think I would stick with it instead I'll store it away in my basement until Q1 next year and see what improvements in firmware and software have occured over the coming months.

Bah bah bah I dont know what I'm saying I dont know whats better, the awsome G1 experience - the ****ty battery life or the Epix which is easy for me because I used to own a Dash with a huge bettery that will run circles around the G1's bettery.

Hahaha yeah my first thought when they announced the free phone was I'm gonna sell it cause I know I can get at least 350-400 bucks for it. My mistake was opening the box and using the phone

no actually your mistake was not giving it to Ninja Chuck Norris Android who will now have to track you with his G1 GPS and rip you apart to make his sushi for the night.

I just googled the phone, its ok, a little to blackberry designed for my taste (not a fan of it.) however I do believe that samsung makes some of the best phones on the market, after my last one. it wasn't a smart phone, but it worked really well, and therefore I'm a fan.

and you know if it does what you want yadda yadda then do what you gotta do yadda yadda, etc.

I gues I'll give the Epix a try for a week. Even though I will miss the G1 a lot.
