In store pre-order question
hey tommorow my plan is to go to a tmobile store to preorder the G1 and I have a couple of questions concerning this
1. Do you have to be a tmobile customer to preorder the phone?
2. Can you still preorder them at stores?
3. DO you think they will still be up for preorder by now?
Im gonna call my local tmobile stores tommorow before I go, but im hoping you guys would answer these questions first

Go to the store and tell them you'd like to pre-order it. They will probably ask if you are a T-Mobile customer, tell them no (obviously), and ask if they can sign you up but post-activate the account so that your line won't start till the 22nd. That's what they did with me. After they did that, I think they had to call activations to get a number assigned to it so they could put the pre-order in.
