The Iphone just got google voice search. Yet android doesn't have that yet, I don't get why google would do this? It seems like they are providing goodies to the other guys while not working on thier base...how does this make sense? I guess maybe for search revenue purposes...but it still seems a bit underhanded giving the feature to the Iphone before android.
Any word on when this feature will come to android?

google has never intended to complete with iphone. their goal is to push out their services out to public as much as they can, for advertisement revenue of course. so those google apps on iphone will eventually come to g1. itls sad that we get them after iphone though.....well at least flash player is coming soon to g1
If Google has any sense it'll get it out on as many platforms as it can to maximise exposure and ad revenue from their searches. Same as they've done with Google Maps, etc.
It's probably coming to the iPhone first because it's a more mature platform than Android at present.
