It tells you so much. I just haven't figured all what.

yep next to the ear speaker seems to light up when you have a notification or are charging and maybe something other things

the sidekick track ball would blink according to notifications - green for all good and no messages, blue for some kind of notification, and red when it needed charging. im glad the g1 has implimented this functionality in it.. now all i have to do is GET ONE. TOMORROW.
