Ok I just sent back my original unit, after I got my replacement.. But how long does it take for them to credit back my credit card, that they charge for my replacement unit?
I sent back my G1 on November 3rd, they received it on the 5th, my credit was given back to me on the 18th or 17th of November. They say it takes up to 30 days or so. Thankfully, they gave me my credit before the end of my monthly cycle (25th of every month) so they won't bill me the cost for the G1. The earlier you send it back before your cycle the faster they credit you, I assume.
If paying for it is an issue, they offer a financial withhold for your account, where you don't have to pay for the G1 for a month or two. Once the warehouse personnel clears your return (approving that everything is sent back and along the lines of the return policy), your account gets credited for the cost of the G1, and you should be fine and not have to pay for the G1.
I hope this may help you. Keep in mind, I returned it within my 14 day buyers remorse. Make sure to call the Customer Care and let them put a note on your account saying you are returning for whatever reason. Mine was defected.
Oh man I should had let them charge my t-mobile account, but for some reason I ask them to charge my credit card.
