Default meebo on the g1 works!

Posting from my g1! Loving it!

Just a heads up for all the AIM complainers. www.meebo.com web based IM works great! And it supports a ton of diff clients.

I think I just fell in love with your thoughts. Gotta wait for my brother to come home to see how meebo works on the G1.

yes, since the meebo client is running through browser, there is no way for t-mobiles text messaging system to track your instant messages

Working for me here in Atlanta, GA on 3G. Great news too because I used WebMessenger on my MDA and did not want to have to start getting charged for IM's as text messages on my new G1.

I think it's more for people [like myself] who have the $25 plana nd don't want to waste our 400 texts on IM's. if this will use AIM using the data rather than texts, it's all gravy.
