MicroSd Card Slot Cover

I just noticed that my microsd card slot cover ( flap that opens up ) is loose...
If it comes off will my G1 have problems with the card ???

Has anyones Cover popped off ??

As I recall, the cover doesn't hold the card in place it "clicks" in, as an SD card woudl when inserted into a computer. If that's the case, the only problem yo would have is dirt and somehow pressing on the card and ejecting it.

Actually there is a sensor that knows if the cover is closed or not, it it is not closed it dismounts from the phone.
