How do you move icons across "desktop" screens? Thanks
Move the icon to the edge, and sometimes it will shift over. It is buggy at best: shift when you don't want to, and not shift when you want to. I just delete the icon, go to the screen I wanted and re-add the icon. Much easier.
I'm sure this task will be much easier once multi-touch is added... someday.
Yea, I figured it was same as iPhone but it doesn't do it...
the way u put the icons on the center works the same on the other two. go to the one you want hold then drop. dont have to pu ton the center then drag
Yes, it works -- I've moved mine around quite a bit.. Drag the icon, HOLD it right on the edge, and the screen will flip. Then just move your icon to where you want it, and let it drop.
just delete it, move to the desktop you want it on, touch for 3 seconds, choose the same shortcut you deleted and voila.
not until I read this post did I get it as well, but if this helps: Click and hold onto the icon that you wish to move. if the icon is in the center of the pane that you are currently in, drag to the desired pane, left or right if in the middle pane, until the pane moves, then drop. if you have an icon that is currently right next to the desired pane: click and drag the icon away from the desired pane then move it back; the panes will move, then drop. It works.

I was also having trouble with this, but it was moving icons when I did not want them to move. I tried several times and ways to undo the move. It turns out that after you "pick it up" you have to roll your finger to get smaller fingerprint on the edge of the screen. It is more of a problem if you have larger finters or use your thumb (as I do) because of the larger contact area.
I happen to use a PDA stylus quite a bit, and wish the Droid could be set to respond to it, as well as had a magnet holder like the HTC TPro has. I had a stylus that was also a Pen in my Centro, and it was so handy!
