When you are playing music and you leave the music player app and go to home, is there anyone way to change or pause the song without returning to the music app?

I believe you can pull down the controls from the window shade (notification screen) when music is playing. (Sorry, I'm in between G1s, so cannot confirm.)

controls aren't directly in the notifications you end up clicking the song name and it brings you back to the main music screen
