My G1 wont turn on

My phone was on my nightstand and was working fine a few minutes ago. I went downstairs and when i came back to my room my phone was turned off. When i try to power it back on, it wont work. Ive tried to take out the battery and turn it back on but it wont work.

Is there anything i can do to make it work again? If not, i'll just have to go to the store to see if they can give me another one i suppose

Are you willing to say you never dropped the phone ?

Did you try plugging it in ?

Try leaving the battery out for a few minutes (go make a cup of coffee or microwave a HotPocket or something), then put it back in and try again.

If you connect the phone to the AC charger, do you see a red LED or a green charging LED? What was the battery life remaining when you last left the phone?

I had the same issue some time back due to the fact that I was making the phone work to the point where the battery didn't have enough power to go on, and it shut the phone down. Despite plugging into into the wall charger, the phone would not power itself back on until 10 minutes later when there was sufficient charge to start the device back up

No, i actually havent dropped my phone yet
And yeah i tried to plug it into the charger and no lights come on whatsoever, no signs that its even working

And when it died, it was actually more than 3/4's charged because i hadnt used it the whole day
It just turned off and died on its own

Sounds like a faulty unit. You should be able to get it replaced under warranty
