mytouch 3G or keep the berry??

I have this big dilemma about keeping my berry or switch to the mytouch 3G. The name sounds girly for me but oh well. Here is the thing, I like my berry a lot and the apps that I use more are facebook and opera mobile. Does android has a good app for facebook and a good browser app?? Also, I love the physical keyboard so how good is the touchscreen keyboard? I tried the UI from the iphone and honestly it feels like crap, lol. I was going to switch to at&t but oh boy their prices are just tooo expensiveee. Tmobile is cheap and their customer service is excellent. I also want 3G and that's why I'm looking for another phone. My question here is, is tmobiles 3G as fast as at&t's?? Finally, my contract with tmobile expires the second week of August so that gives me about a month to decide. I know this is a mytouch3G forum but please try to be as fair as possible. Some comparison(head to head) between mytouch3G and the iphone will help me a lot.

theres some facebook apps out that arent so good but theres gonna be a good one coming up any day now.

If the MyTouch name dont do it for you, you can call it what it really is, HTC Magic

Get the G1. As far as hardware goes, they're pretty much identical, except for added memory in the magic, depending on how many apps you use it may not make a difference. The thing the G1 has over is is a physical keyboard, the vk on the magic and G1 to me feel pretty similar to the iphone vk.
Seriously, what did you think you'd get from an Android forum? Go to a BB forum, you'll get the exact opposite answer. Of course, they couldn't give you any real reason behind the answer, but thats another thing.

I was a Berry girl before coming to the G1 for Android. If I still had my BBerry, and had a choice to switch, I personally would choose a G1 over the Magic because of the G1 keyboard... I am not a huge fan of onscreen keyboards, that was one of the biggies for me on the BBerry, other than my Exchange.... anyways, I agree with Kits and would choose the G1... I have not missed my BBerry a single day - truly.

hahaha You are posting in a Android forum.... what do you think people will tell you to get? I myself have never really used a blackberry so I can't give you an answer.

BBery has a loyal following, I wouldnt be surprised if some of them tried a G1, and switched back... its a valid question, he's trying to find pros/cons... I don't see a problem with it.

THANKS! u got my point! I know this is an android forum but sometimes people are not too android fanboys, lol, no offense. Anywayz, I played with an iphone today and that thing rocks! The UI is boring, I mean apple does not want users to change themes and create widgets. That is why I like android. Is more user-friendly so will see if I get the mytouch 3G. HTC hero also sounds nice but no 3G in the USA and the price is just out of my league lol.
