New Music App Needed

Coming from the iPhone, a new music app is DEFINITELY NEEDED!

I used (on Mac) iTunesmyWalkman which gets my songs and playlists to the phone's memory card, but there were some problems/downfalls.

1. Sometimes the songs and playlists would be doubled.
2. I can't look at a playlist's songs. I can only select the playlist and it will start playing.
3. No options at all except for repeat and shuffle.
4. No really great way to sync with iTunes playlists.


Any word on improvements? Thanks

No- The G1 needs a better music player BIG TIME.

Tunewiki isn't worth the time. Im waiting for Diggin to see if it's any better

Yeah. Seriously. I dont intend to have this be my main music player, but still there is no excuse for some of these gaping problems...

- Songs stutter every once in a while
- Album art gets cut if it's not of a certain dimension
- We need gapless playback somehow!!!

I remember reading that a bunch of 3rd party music apps were in the pipeline but they're waiting for the pay system to come online. One is an old favorite, Coreplayer. They have excellent sound quality and can play all codecs.

Only problem I have with them is their UI isn't so hot.

BTW, Diggin looks awesome. Perfect "Android" like app. Not another Ipod music player clone.

ipod music player clone is fine with me... It works and I think its great.

Besides the music player, what about something to get iTunes playlists to the G1 perfectly....?
