-->OFFICIAL: I Got My G1! Thread

just recently got a bronze one last week. 2hrs later also received the cupcake ota. unfortunately i had to exchange the bronze for a black one because i had a hard time seeing the keys at night. so now i have the black and its been 2 days and no cupcake update yet.

but overall the phone is worth every penny!

i just hope i get cupcake soon!

ive had my phone for about a month and have bee through numerous forums and i think this is the best. I am kinda dissapointed that my mall didnt have a Jville jags or miami heat case, so i just went with the Gators lol. I love this phone and im on it 24/7.....

I just now joined this forum and I got my Black G1 less than a month ago. I gotta say I'm addicted to it! Before this I had a freaking sidekick slide! I always hated sidekicks but I needed something with a full keyboard because of my business, and Blackberrys were not in the question.

But the G1 has the best of both worlds, Full Keyboard and Touch Screen!

LoL! I just got my G1 within the last month. I'm not too crazy about the mytouch. It's a nice phone, but too light, I'd be in fear of breaking it. Besides, the only real difference I've seen is that the mytouch is all touch screen, and the G1 has a qwerty keyboard, I'm more comfortable with this.......

Yessssss,finally got my today,getting use to the touch screen and all but I love this phone.prefer this over the mytouch,I need the keyboard.

I've had my G1 about a month. I was due for an upgrade and took the plunge and WOW.

I bought my G1 like 3 weeks ago. I too, came from a Sidekick Slide and I'm loving this phone. I know it's not the newest phone by any stretch, but coming from a Sidekick this phone is light years better than it and makes me feel like I was in the prehistoric era. I have seen the light now and it's good to be here. Lol.
