Nope the plastic used in this phone is very similar to the wing, I have had it in its case since I got it (3 days ago) but I wouldnt say its "easy" to scratch, Hope this answers your question

Well its a slip pouch like the blackberry pearl got, so if you like that style then youll love the case thats included. I dont mind it at all, I hate cases, but I dont wanna get this thing all banged up, so thats where it sleeps

Sure. The only gripe so far is that WikiTude seems to mistake landscape mode with portrait mode.

I can say this so far, you guys will not be disappointed.

Yeah I realized shortly after that if I held the G1 with the keyboard closed and started the camera view then switched to landscape, it worked great. Great program, and I can't wait to try it out later tonight in a different area.

my guess is:
G1 utilize the new APN
epc.tmobile.com
it also works with my VPN
then it should work for me
but I wouldn't buy it this time till I won't be forced to use the "dedicated" date service

yes it counts as texting

Hey DIMM, if you're not planning on keeping the $19.99 internet plan, can you try taking the plan off your account and seeing what works? Now that you're activated with your Google account, it shouldn't ask you anymore. My hope is that everything works over WiFi.
