yea i remember that video. The accelerometer is there so its merely coding i believe that prevents the home screen and other apps from automatically rotating an app or firmware update that fixes that....and an onscreen keyboard app would be two must haves in my book. for times when one handed typing is easiest.

It amy be that the Library was removed after these demo phones shipped but this particular phone has the A2DP protocaol because it works on Bluetooth Headphones (in strereo). Kaz tried it lastnight.

I just recieved a firmware update : forced so I just test the BT again. Prior to the update, the Stereo BT worked. The test i just did the functionality is missing entirely. Not sure why my phone had it before. my only guess is that the firmware on my phone was before they decided to remove the Stereo BT capability until they could debug it more.

Did you get the "Much Coolerer" from anything or did you just come up with that... all of the promotional material I've recieved on the G1 had terms just like that... one being "Smarterer" lol I'm guessing they're making fun of dumbphones, but who knows

How did you receive the firmware update? And to make sure I am clear, are you saying that your phone might be different from the ones they release on the 22nd? That we will not have stereo BT?

I'm not really 100% sure if the update I recieved is how they will send them out later on... I was playing around with the market when all of a sudden I get a popup saying Updating Firmware. It downloaded installed and the phone restarted. I'll run the speedtests on edge and wifi, I'm not in 3G area so I can't give you those numbers. And as for the Stereo BT, I know they removed it for some reason in the first releases. I'm not sure if they'll put it back on in an update before the 10/22 release
