"Page not found" error when using G1 Email app to view these forum thread replies

So I get an email letting me know there's a reply to one of the threads I'm subscribed to. For example, the email might have:

http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f41/how-to-enter-pause-character-in-contact-phone-4801-new/

When I select (touch) the link in the email, it launches the G1 browser but then gives "page not found."

If I do the same thing in Thunderbird on my Mac, it launches Firefox (my default browser) and takes me to the proper place in the thread.

What do I need to do to prevent the "page not found" on the G1?

I find this happening a lot. Just reload the page and it should be fine. I don't know why, but it seems to work.

mines been doing that to only on wifi though
