Plastic USB cover

How long before the little black plastic USB cover breaks off of your phone? I give it a week or two, or at best a month if I am really careful.

I agree. I had one of those on my wing that I had about a year ago and it lasted about a month before breaking off.

mine usually lasts a long time. Maybe I am really careful I don't know. Besides that the G1 would look kinda ugly without it.

I ripped it off my Dash when i had it. I dont like the idea of fiddeling around with the plastic cover thingy everytime i wanna charge it.

Ripping it off of the G1 would not make it look right. Grrrr....

mine broke off immediately, as soon as I opened the box I made love to the phone(i was rough).

Mine broke off in November, but it was slightly broken right out of the box.

I will never let mine break I hate it so much. I used to have a PEBL and it broke off I was so pissed and I could never find a replacement online.

I live in fear that some day the cover will fall off my precious G1 and then I won't be able to find a replacement online

I hope that I can keep the cover on there for more than 6 months.

I never lost the cover on my Dash. I think I prefer the hard rubber covers than the plastic one they provided for the G1.
