Well my phone just took the RC30 update OTA It asked me if wanted to install and i did because i don't care much about gaining root access to my phone so here for your enjoyment is the download URL for the file
from reading the file name it looks like you must have RC29 to use this update
not sure if those on RC19 will get a different file download or will just have to wait till their phones are on RC29 to get the RC30 i was in the same boat as you guys some days ago but i downloaded 29 and did an SDcard update cuz i couldn't wait (don't ask why lol )

i tried the RC30 sd update and it didnt work. i followed the same steps as the RC29. am i doing something wrong?
i'd rather wait a couple more days until a lot of people try this update first... i don't want to brick my baby!
nm. i got it. you name it update......not update.zip. hope it doesnt brick my phone.
edit* update RC30 worked fine from sd. phone seems quicker but i think its just me. plus i deleted a few apps.

no idea, mine came via OTA and that was the file name perhaps they changed something so we cant manually update anymore in light of us being able to with RC29 would be my guess, considering how fast i got this update , less than 2 days from it hit, compared to RC28/29 i was over a week out from when that hit before i just did it myself instead of waiting i would say you will get yours soon enough
BTW: The file *IS* named update.zip It's just that Windows hides the file extensions, so naming it update just changes it from update.zip.zip to update.zip!
In other words go into Explorer settings and remove the checkmark for hiding extensions of known file types
Just did the update RC30 from SD everything work out good.... i see a diff in the speed of the phone a little not much... but thanks for the link for the update.
i was just offered an OTA update 5 min ago,.. i accepted and it went through it's paces.. but its still v29...(i had installed that manually a few days ago..)
does the OTA updater really not check what version is already installed to your phone before offering the upgrade?
