Tell TMo that it came like that and they'll probably send you a replacement.

    Can we see some pics?

Are you sure it's dust or a dead pixel? dead pixels appear in a greenish tint. If that's the case, try to reboot the phone. If it's still there, call CS.

Replacements don't cost money right...?...Oh and I would take a picture but I wouldn't be able too. All you would see is my camera's reflection, plus my camera isn't good enough to take it and capture the dust under the screen in the picture.

Nah it's not a dead pixel it's a spec of dust...=(. When the phones off I can't really see it unless theirs like black on my screen or what ever. But I can defenently see it when the phones is in "sleep mode" or "locked" or off.

Mine has a speck of dust too, drives me insane. I have a replacement coming next week, T-Mobile immediately set up the exchange with no questions asked. This is my 4th HTC Device and the 1st with a screen issue, HTC's quality control is usually very good. I haven't seen many complaints like this so I am sure it is not a common problem.

No you won't get charged for a replacement if its within the 14 days buyers remorse thing. I just sent back my pre-order and bought one in-store. That way its MUCH easier to deal with problems.

Wish I could do that. I got it through business sales and they said only they can replace my phone. It's worth it though, I got some awesome perks getting it through them.

So you just called up T-Mobile Customer Service and told them that your g1 came with dust/lint under the screen right? And that you wanted a replacement?...and they allowed it..just wanted to make sure..because I need a replacement!!! It's killing me...

As long as call from another phone so they can troubleshoot shouldnt be a problem to get a exchange. Now if its in the first 14 days youll have to ship the phone back all together bc in buyer remorse we dont do a warrenty exchange yet. If you can live with it till the 14 days are up then call CS and a exchange can be done very easy.

Well it was business sales but yes, I told them exactly that-there is dust under the screen. I have to wait for the exchange to be processed which they said takes 24-48 hours and then I will recieve the replacement in 2-4 days. In the meanwhile they required me to put the new phone charge on my credit card and then ship the "dust" phone back and I will be credited.
