This makes your G1 5.7 times faster than my internet at work!! lol..

Wow... that is absolutely horrible for a pc internet connection.
Here's mine:
remember - my PC - not a mobile phone lol
But as for the original results from the G1 - pretty nice... I've never had real internet on a phone, so I can't compare however.

I'm behind an 802.11b choke point from my server (until UPS arrives today with my 802.11g AP) right now, but I have a 15Mbit cable connection (2Mbit upload).

I have to say, these speeds are a far cry from the 7.2Mbits (3.6Mbit realistically) that we are capable of..
