Login to your email account via the gmail website (www.gmail.com) There is a part on the calendar part of your account that needs to be verified. They send you a text and you put in the verification number. Try it out below.
1) Login to your gmail account via the website
2) Click on your calendar
3) Click on settings
4) Click on mobile settings
5) Complete the verification

I've got the issue, but only for my CONTACTS... my calendar and Gmail sync fine... searching the internet for solutions, because "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" error started at 5pm yesterday (release). Synced fine earlier in the day, thought it was just overloaded servers, but still won't do it this morning. Will drop in my Tmobile store when they open to see what they have to say...
