For months now we have heard the first HTC Android handset go by many names including "Google phone", the "Dream" and "G1. For most, the title G1 seems to stick. Turns out on July 30th T-Mobile filed to trademark "G1" (serial number 77535347). The trademark G1 has not been approved as of yet so no news as to if it will be named as such.
Chances are on the 23rd T-Mobile is going to go with the title G1 over the HTC Dream. Just because they tried to trademark G1 does not mean they will use it.
