T-Mobile UK release HTC Hero as G1Touch - Me wants!

i just looooove this phone.. the hardware and the firmware look just so sexy. I think the more i see it, the more i'll end up buying it instead of huawei.

this is the only thing thats really turning me off from this phone right now. i thought the chin was the same size as the g1's but it looks too angled in this pic!! from the looks of it, its just about the same thickness as the iphone but that chin is too angled!

lol told you their was alot of chin... makes you just want to pound on the angled part and see how high the hero flips!

i still think its the same angle but the hero's chin (on the back part) starts from farther up which makes it look bigger

i know if you get it unlocked it will be compatible... but i was wondering since its on tmo uk if i popped in my U.S. sim would it work?

al gsm phones should be compatible with any sim, right?? I just want 3G in that phoneee, that OS looks sweeetttt

Actually the specs on this phone is the same as the Touch HD but without the same screen size... so if you were like me waiting for Android HD... here is the next best thing... it's my hero...

i actually like the chin. it makes these phones with the chins looks different than just the plain 'ol flat front. its part of HTC "innovation" i really am tempted on getting this but im gonna have to wait till huawei or htc releases its other secret android phone. it appears both of them have a front facing camera and capable of using skype video calling

What's the chance of an official Android Touch HD port with SENSE UI? Surely Android and all it's applications will have to be re-coded to be compatible with the HD's resolution? If an official port is likely I might just go with a Touch HD. A Computer Exchange shop near me has a Touch HD for £250 :O.
