Text Message Vibrate

I have mine on vibrate right now and its saying absolutely nothing.....:'(

By any chance did you put it back in your pocket? I've noticed the G1's vibrate for notifications and texts doesn't last very long, nor is it powerful. Walking around in NYC in the winter has made me miss a few things by a few minutes.

It probably did vibrate and you didn't feel it. That's happened to me. That's the only thing I miss about my KRZR: it would beep and vibrate every two minutes if I missed the first one.

Jaxidian has the correct way to set it to vibrate only. A follow up question: is there a way to lock this? When I'm on a call if my thumb brushes the volume rocker, it clicks off of vibrate, I don't know it, and the next call I get, I have no notification (as well as no notification of an Email or message. Any ideas?

Have you guys checked out dg alert from the market place? it has the ability to turn screen on/off, control timeout, custom vibration, for SMS. I think you can make the vibrate last longer too.

I would like to have that extra alert every 10 minutes or so if I have a missed call or txt (short vibrate or beep my Razr 2 had) . Does anyone know of an app that can do this?

srx, Your idea is good too, I'd like to get a second notification on a call, Email or SMS.
