Well let the fun begin. As I'm on my G1, trying to email myself some recent pictures, I get an error.
"Sorry. the application Camera(process com.andoid.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
But to no avail, I can not access my pictures. The only other time that i have seen a similar message on my G1 has been with downloaded applications. I believe this might be a result of low memory. The only option I get is to "Force Close". When I do this and try to access my pictures again, it still does not work. After powering off the phone and powering it back on the problem is gone. Has anyone seen this before?
how big is ur sd
yeah, sounds like a memory problem to me, how much memory do you have available? did you try a soft reset to see if it was the program memory?

What version is the software? Do you have the up-to-date one? Rumor has it that there was an upgrade scheduled for today...

Alright "Available Space" out the box is 71Mb. So after I installed those 12 application that left me with 45Mb of internal storage. Those 12 applications ate up 26Mb of memory.
My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow - that seems to be quite dissapointing to see each app taking away 2MB of space ... however, I do not see myself installing that many apps. Maybe in beginning to test them out but after that - # of apps will lower down ...
I hope they come up with the way to install apps onto the mem card
