I am able to pair my G1 with my MacBook Pro, but its unable to browse the G1 since it says "No Services".
Anybody gotten their G1 to work with OS X? I am about to buy a G1 and would like it to pair with my iMac and MacBook Pro with bluetooth.
It will hook up and be recognized but there is no software for it to do anything once Paired.
It's not drivers per se -- that part works, since you can pair.
The bluetooth SERVICES aren't there and aren't being advertised, so there's nothing to DO with the BT connection (other than use a headset to talk on).
It will come in time, it's in the works from what I hear.
I can pair on PC with same message.
Apparently no one has developed bluetooth services for G1 other than headset.
I'm addicted to using bluetooth as modem for my laptop, kind of stuck now that I got a G1.
I'm in the same boat. I used to use my Treo as a modem to send faxes from my PC.
Hoping someone writes some BT services for the G1... file exchange, data calls, etc.
I don't think anyone is using the search button on Android Community. This question has been answered in many other posts. Google was unable to compete the Bluetooth implementation in time for the G1's release. They have stated that an OTA update will bring that functionality later.
