Verizon Android vs g1

Do u think Verizon will ever get a android phone to compete with the g1? The samsung phones feel like crap in my opinion. LG phones are good yet always have a huge flaw. Give your thoughts.

2 different build types... I guess you can say versions.

rc29 is older and should be updated to rc30 to fix up some flaws or something.

Something about root access, but hey if you're into that kind of thing, go for it.

One day, many years from now, VZW may get an android phone, once they are certain it can be locked down and not be broken. I guess this thread means the op dad said no to tmo

Most of my friends have t-mobile or AT&T, most of my parent's friends have Verizon or Sprint. I think that's the reason they don't want to switch.
