I have like 10 applications available on it, that's it...no shopsavvy, no pac-man, nothing...I just got my G1 this morning before work (great timing) and this is disappointing me. :-(

Isn't the update supposed to happen today? I thought it had something to do with the market so maybe that it why there isn't much available?

I am guessing they are currently updating it, since today was the date given for a Marketplace update.

There was talk about an update coming out today for people who've had their phones and they had to redownload everything they've grabbed so far.

Maybe this is tied to the update and in a few hours all apps will be on there?

Hmmm. I guess THAT's why they told everyone to delete all their apps on the 20th and then redownload. They're removing all the good stuff!

yeah the will be updating throughout the day so not all the applications will be available

from what I read, it's a server-side update... Not an update to the market app on the phones themselves... But to the marketplace servers.
