White G1 held back till January?

I called a different t-mo store near me to get on the waitinglist, and the lady was nice enough to put me on it (she said she'd hold one for me, all i had to do was come in and ask for her, sweeeeeet!) but when she asked me what color, i said white, she replied with:


"ohh, the white ones wont be released till january"





WHAT?! has anyone else gotten this? snoslicer you must know something.. whats the deal?

When I called to add insurance the person I talked to said they would be in the stores on the 22nd

Unless it comes from T-Mobile directly take everything you hear with a grain of salt.

A buddy of mine's girlfriend works at a tmobile store and she is going to get him the white one on the 22nd and i am going to trade him for my black one

i called the same store again and spoke to the manager, she said she had a tmobile corporate rep come in and say that the white, would not, be available on the 22nd. wtffffffffffffizzle
