Exclamation Yahoo search replacing Google search on G1 phones?

At least that's the impression I got from reading this:

I wouldn't make that connection. Giving branding and likely contract considerations, I think the G1 would not change. Default for other T-Mobile phones, yes.

Yahoo Search + Homepage > Google Search + Homepage

For everything else... Google > Yahoo

    Eh, Google > Anything Yahoo.

Yahoo's main page is nothing but clutter.

Google is nice, simple and clean.
    Simplicity is beauty.

Clutter sucks. But their search engine yields better results for me.. (prob just cuz I search for weird stuff)

And I like news and entertainment on my homepage.. i.Google.com doesn't do it as well... and google.com has nothing.. So I Stick with yahoo.. But it's totally a personal preference.

Doesn't having Yahoo search on the "Google" phone contridict itself?

Or because you're doing it wrong.

You do know Google has iGoogle right? You can customize that an all. Also Google has a news section.
