Most Blogs/Forums/social network sites have a section for your location. How about an app that automatically fills that in from an android phone and can update it on a map. For instance if you were on a holiday or some sort of road trip your location could be updated to a server and then displayed on a map of the whole trip.
hmmm i dont think i would want people to know where i am LOL! my *cough* wifey *cough* would be one of thoes people. LOL!

yeah, I'm not keen for everyone on a social networking site, even my full friends list knowing my location all the time. That would make it difficult to get out of a lame/uninteresting event by saying I'm out of town or somewhere else. I can just picture it now "No you're not, google maps says you're at home." Plus, quite frankly, sometimes our friends become our not-friends, and unless you make sure to delete people immediately and block access, you're giving them a handy way to stalk you or something. The personal GPS thing, while handy, is a bit too big brother for me.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this gave me a good laugh
there are some cool social networking apps on the iphone. it would be cool if they make the same apps for android, so iphone users and android users can intermingle. my fav one on the iphone is who's here. i hope they develop it for android also. that would be so awesome. to check it out go to www.myrete.com i believe thats the site. i can't verify it, my job has it blocked.
