Default Seriously now, where's the Exchange app?

Honestly, this isn't funny any more. Where is the 3rd party Exchange app? I need a MAPI client at or just after launch or I can't get the flippin' G1! I am a network admin and management is going to pay for a company phone of my choosing but exchange support is required (of course) and I have to make my decision by early November. COME ON people! Since I am required to have my company phone at all times, I just cant justify having whatever that happens to be AND a personal G1. I know there are others in my boat...

I saw a press release not too long ago that quickoffice was working on one, but I don'e see any mention of it on their site any more.

That link specifically says they are NOT working on Exchange, only the other Office Programs.

it'll come, with enough demand, and there seems to be already enough.

looks like you may not be able to get the G1 this year. If it's any consolation, the iPhone didn't have exchange support when it first came out, either.

I wish people would use proper (or at least semi-proper) grammar when making posts, or at least make an attempt at it. Not only is this l33t or shorthand, or whatever it's called, hard to read, annoying, and not "cute", it's deteriorating the English language.

    -thanks,

English that is spoken today is not the same English that was spoken in the past. Language is apart of culture and it changes over time.

All that really matters is the message is understood. That is the whole point of communication. If you don't understand what people are saying, then I understand.

I'm sure you meant " a - part " (two words) but here I merely poke fun.

I'm irritated by the poor grammar too, and the shorthand, and especially the liberal lolo lo l oololl ol o l oool God it makes me twitch in fact, but I agree with Lazzy here... the important thing is that the message is understood, more so than grammatically correct.

However, a fair compromise, might I suggest: At LEAST use proper punctuation. A well-placed period or comma makes all the difference in the world to those of us accustomed to reading things like formal letters and college texts. If the purpose is to get a message across, at least an attempt should be made that the message be understandable to the largest group of people possible.

Oh, and the whole they're/there/their, its/it's, etc. Oh, and it's ETC, not ECT..... I'm just glad I'm not an English major in college -- I'd crawl right out of my skin online LOL *BANG* *thud* (as I shoot myself in the head)

    But I digress....

Yeah, try to spell right or somethin', but as long as the message gets across, that's the important thing...

And to those of us who do speak English well, and write it well, please remember, it's no longer England or the United States, but rather EARTH. We're all here together, and not all of us have English as a native tongue. Personally, I applaude those from other nations who strive so hard to "get it right" whether they succeed or not. Es mas bueno que mi espan~ol, no?

    Cheers!
