Since we will have the bar code scanning, it would be pretty slick to create a inventory type application. This could be extremely useful for music, books, comics etc... I have a lot of tools that get lent out to friends and neighbors, just print up a little bar code, affix it to your equipment and you'll have a check in-out system. That way you'll never lose/forget about your item.

Chotpy: Thank would be really cool to see maybe an emulator of java games if they cant install .jar files! Then i could dig up my faves from the razor!

Android0523: I woul really appriciate the ability to black list (callers and texters!) because ive been getting these random recored call about some warrenty on a car i never bought. Ya, i know i can make it silent and not answer, but aftr a while the 10-20 voice mails it leaves is down right annoying. Not to mention, ive lately become victim to spam texting.

So, punkzanyj: i see your point, but isnt a smart phone about being smart? making life easyer, saving time on mundane tasks so i can have more time to do what i want? I do have my bills stored in my calender, but it would be nice to just plug it into an expense tracker so i dont have to waste time when maybe one month i dont have to pay a usual bill or have aquired a new one. And some of my bills cant have thier dates moved, i pay those early to try to avoid missing it later, but still.. smartphone..? We can all manage it, but it would be nice not to have to so completely. And having played the housewife game a while, it would be super to beable to budget and keep track of groceries easier. I shop at like 3 different stores because some stores have this and others dont, one place is cheaper only on certain items than another; and sometimes i have trouble remembering who had what or was cheaper.. a program to compile all that data to i can just pik and choose from a personal list would be priceless.

jgoldy15: there you go! thats even better than my grocery list idea! I have a note pad full of that kind of stuff. Perhas a program where you can customize a list with barcode data and use it however it suits. (gift regitry, shopping, lending..)

arent they stupid?? i even grabbed the call one day and "pressed 4 to stop receiving these reminders" and still they come. Theres like 5 differnt numbers, and when i try to call it back i get the number no recognized message. When im sleeping but still waiting on a call, they waking me up at 7am makes me wanna track them down with something sharp.

The texts are getting bad too.. Those are always from differnt numbers, not to mention these random text from not to savy gentelmen i seem to get at 3am (no idea who they are). Id like to be able to recieve texts from ONLY the people i approve. LIke a reverse black list maybe. NO ONE can text me untill i add them to the list.

Ok well I'm gonna suggest something totally crazy here... How bout an app that gives us a VIDEO CAMERA? I'm amazed that after all the complaints Apple got about the "other phone" not having it, HTC would leave it out of the G-1. The blacklist is def a good one though. I have it on my "other phone" now & I'm not sure if I'M gonna be able to live w/ out it.

There is an app I have right now that has all the things your talking about. Its called PSYL. I have it on my *Phone. Maybe one of the dev could do some investigating & give us the same for G-1. Just a thought.

i gotta have desktop control of my cell. i currently use my mobiler on my tytn and it's flawless. i get to see my cell screen and send text from pc's keyboard. you can completely control your phone this way. my cell is usually in a cradle about 3 feet from my computer chair. if i get a call, i can access cell from desktop screen and enable speakerphone. man, am i lazy or what? lol

I'm surprised too after all these posts no-one asked for a video RECORDER. g1 currently has only video playback.

You guys must be really anxiously waiting for your phones you forget that.

I think there will be more than 3 by the end of the year, the first one will probably gain the market.
