Default Something to keep track of my DVDs

Ok I've looked but can't find anything that would do what it is that I am wanting ...

I've got about 350 DVDs and the collection is growing. What I'd like is a way to scan the barcodes of the movies I have and have it make a list. That way when I go to the store I could refer to my list and make sure I don't buy the same movie twice. This kind of thing could be used for CDs or keeping track of anything with a barcode... I don't care if all it does is scan the code and I have to input the DVD info but it would be nice if it was automatic :-)

    Anything like this out there?

Thumbs up Google Docs is a great solution!

Thanks, coina, for this suggestion! I just did this to replace jFile on Palm, which I have used for the past 5 or so years. This solution works pretty well for me. So long, Palm...
