connectbot rocks! vi however isn't easy to move around in. did you experience a squirrely cursor movement (i can only use the trackball and if the line of code is long, it takes forever to get to the middle of it)

any help is appreciated!

It's called ConnectBot and it's in the Market. I used it yesterday to edit a web page for a client. How cool is it to be able to run vim on your cell phone??

Hi, i got the ssh connection running between my phone ( ConnectBot) and windows PC at home.


However I have no idea how to forward the ports. I have tried all the possibilities by now, and nothing works.


Could someone give me a concrete example ( what to type in where in the ConnectBot )?

And also, when i have the ssh connection and a port forwarded through it on ConnectBot, how do i make an application on the phone use that port? Do I set a proxy? For example i have got this App for sip calls, its called 3CXPhone.

If it is about proxy, which address do I type in there? The EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS of the PC on which the SSH server runs on?

I really really really need this, please help me
