    Default Windows Start menu style app...

    Just an idea... figure it'd be cool with a little android in place of windows logo with custom apps that can be placed inside. I don't know about you guys but my desktop is full!

    That would be cool. I personally would not be willing to pay for it but it would be very cool to be able to have that

    Hey ariesboy, thanks for the tip! Now it seems it would be even simpler to do. Just being able to change icon would be nice. Btw... anyway to change the name of the folder? Sorry for being so noobish... just got my g1 a few days ago. I'm still tryin to figure it out all the way.

    One other thing, it appears that only one folder can be placed on the desktop.

    To edit a folder title/name:
    1. Create Folder
    a. make sure you're on desktop.
    b. press 'menu'
    c. select 'add'
    d. select 'Shortcut' -> 'Folder'
    2. Open Folder
    3. Long press (press & hold) on folder title.
    4. Slide out keyboard.
    5. ....

    you get the rest.

    Follow step 1 above and repeat for the number of folders you want on desktop.

    I believe with Better cut you can change icons on your home screen. Has anyone with Better cut tried changing the icon of a folder? If this can be changed, I'll buy it just to put a little android on the boom left of my desktop to use as a start menu.
    Hang on, this deserves its own thread, 'scuse me.
