Galaxy Spica i5700 does not have market widget

Hi friends,

I bought Samsung Galaxy Spica GT-i5700 in Viet Nam.

On SS site, Spica have market widget to install apps but mine.

And I can not find the way install android apps into this phone.

Anyone can help me?

Maybe your wording is wrong or I just don't know this phone at all, but I was unaware of a GADGET for Market.

Do you mean you are missing the ICON to the Android Market ???

Tải Android SDK: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

giải nén vào 1 thư mục cụ thể và dễ dùng. vd: c:\SDK
trong thư mục đó sẽ có thư mục tools, đi kèm trong gói là driver.

Cắm i5700 vào máy tính, vào device manager, click fải vào samsung.... chọn update driver và để windows tự động update [tìm trong máy và tìm online đều ra vì gói đó đi kèm driver]. Tốn khoảng 1-2 phút thôi.

Lúc này thì windows đã nhận ra android rồi, ko còn là 1 cái "removable storage" nữa.
Copy file .apk của market vào 1 thư mục nào đó trong máy, ví dụ: c:\sdk\tools\market.apk

bạn bật command prompt lên: run> gõ cmd rồi enter là đc
sử dụng dòng lênh như sau [enter sau mỗi lệnh]:
cd\
cd c:\sdk\tools
adb devices
lúc này máy sẽ chạy điên cuồng gì đó
dòng cuối cùng hiện ra là: samsung... gì đó thì đã thành công, nếu ko thấy hiện ra gì tương tự thì xem lại driver.

nếu đã nhận máy, gõ tiếp:
adb install market.apk

Nếu file apk nằm ở thư mục khác, ví dụ: c:\market.apk
thì gõ:
adb install c:\market.apk

Nhưng mà theo mình tìm thì ko có cái apk cho market vì nó ko fải fần mềm nguồn mở.

Some devices, eg i7500, do not come with the market app inside. This application is not a part of the OS and it's a closed-source software.
I tried searching with google but got no luck.

If someone can upload the apk file here for him, and for many other people, that would be just so nice.

And about the gadget:
There is no Gadget for market. Just use:
Menu > Add > Application > Market
It's not a widget at all, it's a shortcut to the Application "Market" in the fone.

But I bet the device didn't come with the Market in it as if it had come with, he should have been able to run it from the Application list.

//Update: Some distribution of Android to some of Google's Partners don't have the Market in it. The only solution is to flash a custom into it.

So basically the OP is in Vietnam where the Market does not come installed. So someone in this thread gave instructions on how to install SDK and push market.apk to system.

Can you provide a link to download market.apk please?
as far as I can ... google, there is no market.apk available out there.
The only way to get market is to flash a custom rom.
feel free to correct me.
