How do the keys feel? How is the layout and spacing? Does the "chin" get in the way at all? Are there any accidental pushing on the buttons or trackball on the "chin"?
I personally don't really think I will be using the touchscreen as much as I will the keyboard and trackball.
but u wnt have to wrry cuz they will make an app for a touch screen keyboard so dnt wrry
Thanks for posting on this Vincent...So you are saying you don't think one hand operation with the keyboard open is feasible? That is the beauty of my current device, then again, it isn't the G1. I am really hoping to find a way to send a text message with one hand...if that isn't possible, I will get the first virtual keyboard app that gets a thumbs up from a reputable source.
But isn't this keyboard VERY similar to the sidekick keyboard?? As an avid sidekick user since the beginning I can vouch for the ability to text with one hand. It just takes some practice and the fear of getting caught at work.Does the keyboard feel the same??
One more question, does the keyboard have a backlight for when it's dark? I would assume so, but would love confirmation.

It does have back lighting.

you can assume a visual keyboard will be made... if its a simple application that you think not only you can use, expect it to be made... and since programs are interchangeable with access to information, expect the keyboard to be landscape and portrait mode in pretty much any application you want to use it in, unlike the iphone
Buy the rumor, Sell the news.
what about audio texting. Certainly there will be an app for that. Doesn't the Instinct support audio texting? (or was my friend from Sprint pulling my leg?)
