Accelorometer stoped working after Cupcake update

Hello Androiders,

I am very piced of right now.

My accelorometer stoped working. The bubble gives me no results, brains genius and other apps that use the accelorometer are not working.

What happend with me is that my Android fell on the floor just some hours before I made the Cupcake update.

So I am still in doubt if it is not working because of the hit, or because of the cupcake... All the rest keep on working correctly...
What should I do?

ps.: my Android is from black market, unblocked... cause I live in Brazil... I have no Tmobile support and I am fraking out right now...

Is it set to orientation?(Check mark in the box under settings<sound and display)?

It is not only the set orientation...

Its everything related to the accelorometer... I saw no body talking about any bug with the cupcake likethis.

So... if it broked because it fell down... what can I do to fix it?

It is fixable?

Can it be descalibrated?

Alright dude, don't freak. This happened to me once when I installed a build of 1.5 awhile back, all you need to do is reinstall cupcake (i recommend thedude's cupcake 1.2 full)
if you aren't rooted you'll need to do that first, just search, there are tons of guides :P

So none of the market games work with your accelerometer? When you open up the keyboard it doesn't switch orientations? (Let alone when the keyboard is closed?)

When I open the keyboard the orientation does change.

But it doesnt automaticlly, when I turn my G1 from vertical to horizontal position.

Ok, has it turned before you dropped it ANYTIME after the cupcake update?(Which is why I asked you if had the Orientation setting checked, it doesn't come default checked.)

You could try a reflashing of the 1.5 update.
