T-Mobile began releasing the 1.6(donut) update officially early this morning . read on... http://androidandme.com/2009/10/carr...ota-confirmed/

Just heard about this morning from my phone... there was an update for an app for better compatibility issue with 1.6 (Donut). I was like WTF is Donut, so I came here to see if there was any detail about it

I had to call T-mobile last night and they have a message on the automated section that said they are rolling donut out, if you have not received yours yet, you will in the next few days.
Do you realize if it weren't for Edison we'd be watching TV by candlelight?

ok so what about us running JF or cyanomod?
(im runningjf 1.5, wanted to switch to cyano, but then that cease&desist thing went down- i dunno if i can even get it now..)
will this update be better than my existing JF rooted install? I dont wann lose root, but is anyone going to make a rooted version of the update now that google has gone full-on lawyersville on devs?

I had read Donut would be released end of October. I figured, Halloween at the earliest!
